About the McCalebs . . .  

Doug and Mary Margaret McCaleb have been serving Christ together for 40 years. Dr. McCaleb was saved at Wurtland Missionary Baptist Church in Wurtland, KY, when he was 16 years old. After high school he joined the Air Force, where he served for four years. Called to preach under the ministry of Dr. Ed Ulrich, Dr. McCaleb enrolled at Bob Jones University. Later while pastoring in West Virginia, he went on to obtain his doctorate from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary.  After graduating from Bob Jones University, Dr. McCaleb founded Temple Baptist Church in Flatwoods, KY where he pastored for twenty-two years. In addition, he pastored Beckley Regular Baptist Church in Beckley, WV for eight years and pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Anderson, SC for seven years.  During that time, Mrs. McCaleb was active as a pastor’s wife, volunteered in Christian schools, and spoke at women’s conferences.

In 1989, Dr. McCaleb became one of the founding board members of WTI. He recently retired from the pastorate in order to work full time for the home office of Worldwide Tentmakers. The McCalebs travel frequently in order to recruit tentmakers at colleges and churches.

Both Dr. and Mrs. McCaleb are available for the following speaking engagements:

 -    Dr. McCaleb is available for revivals, church services, conferences, and Christian school chapel programs.

 -    Mrs. McCaleb is available for ladies meetings and women’s devotionals.
